During his recent visit to Houston, President Obama met with Mr. Muhammad Sheikh, president of the Houston-Karachi Sister City Association. Mr. Sheikh informed the president of the good work Houstonians are doing to strengthen the ties between Houston and Pakistan. President Obama showed off his Urdu language skills by telling Mr. Sheikh “shukria,” Urdu for “thank you.”
